The Elk Valley Pride Festival is a vibrant, inclusive celebration that brings together 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, allies, families, and community members from across the region. 

We invite artisans, food vendors, community organizations, retailers, health services, and interactive activity hosts to join us for this unforgettable event.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome a wide variety of vendors and participants to apply to help make the festival a diverse and engaging experience for all attendees:

  • Artisans & Makers: Showcase your handmade goods, art, clothing, crafts, and more.

  • Food Vendors: Serve delicious meals, treats, or drinks to festival-goers.

  • Retailers: Offer inclusive and community-minded products.

  • Health & Community Organizations: Share resources, support services, and information with attendees.

  • Interactive Booth Hosts: Run games, demos, crafts, or other activities that create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Spectrum Queer Arts Day

Saturday, September 20, 2025 12 to 6pm at the Fernie City Hall greenspace

Spectrum is an all-ages queer arts and artist event at an outdoor venue. Fernie Pride and the Elk Valley Pride Festival is entirely non-profit and your donation (suggested minimum $20) to participate is reinvested into Festival expenses including entertainment, education, and outreach.

Interactive Tents

We encourage all vendors and organizations to consider hosting an activity or interactive element at your booth. Whether it’s a craft station, trivia game, or photo op, adding a hands-on experience helps make the festival more fun and inclusive for everyone. Fernie Pride invites community organizations and allied businesses to participate. We would like the festival to be an interactive experiences for all ages.

This is a great opportunity to:

  • Engage directly with the community

  • Build meaningful connections

  • Show your support in a vibrant, visible way

Below are some suggested interactive tent ideas. 

Note that costs do not include tent/table setups, only estimated activity costs. Tent hosts will need to provide their own tent and materials.

Found Objects Rainbow Build

Setup a backdrop of kraft paper or simlar on a table or fence. Provide adhesives (tape/glue) so that people can add found objects to create a rainbow. Recommend there is at least one item of each colour to get the rainbow started.

Vendor FAQ

The Elk Valley Pride Festival is a non-profit event. Vendors are asked to make a suggested donation of $20 in order to participate.

No, there is not any power available. Food trucks are permitted to use generators.

The Elk Valley Pride Festival has over 1200 participants across its various events, with hundreds participating in the Saturday outdoor festival portion.
