Youth, parents, and caregivers! Join us on Sunday morning for a very special interactive workshop with Aiyana Twigg.
Aiyana Kⱡawat̓inak Paⱡki· Sa’tahtaki Twigg is a Ktunaxa and Blackfoot scholar, PhD student, keynote speaker, language researcher, and Indigenous youth advocate from yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡiʔit within ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa (Ktunaxa territory). She is a Ktunaxa citizen on her mother’s side and a registered member of the Kainai (Blood Tribe) on her father’s side. Her work focuses on Indigenous language revitalization, the Ktunaxa language, Indigenous education, language documentation, writing systems, literacy, land-based pedagogy, pronunciation, digital media, and youth engagement.
A catered lunch will be provided.
