Opening Events | Flag Raising, Bike Parade, Pub Picnic

Join us for an exciting kick-off to our Pride Festival!
The evening begins with a meaningful Flag Raising ceremony, followed by a vibrant Bike Parade through the community. We’ll wrap up with the Rainbow Connections Community Picnic, where everyone can come together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy good food and company.
Get your free bike decorating kit the day before (Wednesday) at the Arts Station. Details here.
This free, family-friendly event welcomes all community members to show their support and pride. Bring your decorated bikes, your appetite, and your rainbow spirit as we officially launch our festival celebration!
Pride Picnic Order Details. They are pre-order from The Pub and will be delivered to City Hall grounds.
