Free to Be – Online Fundraising Auction

Thanks to the generous support from the Elk Valley for our annual fundraiser in 2024, we were able to:

• *Launched the Queer Health Initiative whole health project
• *Created the Inclusive Washroom Guide
• *Provided Community Care Funds
• *Provided subsidies for supportive health care such as physio and massage
• *Hosted several Queer Health Initiative events, including a Financial Wellness session and a hair care session in partnership with local businesses
• *Offered subsidized mental health care
• *Launched the Safe Spaces for All Faces Campaign
• *Participated in the Coal Miner Days Parade, Wildcat Days Parade, Griz Days Parade, Baynes Lake Farmer’s Market, Fernie Chamber Golf Tournament, and Kimberley Pride Festival
• *Hosted monthly Rainbow Connections events
• *Reignited Elk Valley Youth Pride
