DESCRIPTION:Skiers and snowboarders\, make a note to find Fernie Pride at the @ferniealpineresort Plaza on Sunday\, March 1 for a Pride Slide! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual\, social meetup starting at 11:00am so that we can get out on the snow and enjoy the spring weather together! \n\n\n\nGeneral skill level at this event is for intermediate (or above) skiers who are comfortable skiiing the mountain. \n\n\n\nAre you new to snowsports or just not too sure about your comfort level? Please reach out and we will see what we can do to locate a leader! \n\n\n\n2SLGBTQ+ people and allies welcome! \n\n\n\nNote: Participants need their own lift pass and gear. DESCRIPTION:Fernie Pride is on the lookout for a few keen volunteers so don’t be afraid to put your hand up! \n\n\n\nThanks to the generosity of @fernierotaryclub\, Fernie Pride is a recipient of a donation from the sales of Griz Days pins and all we have to do is help sell them! \n\n\n\nThis is a fantastic chance to be involved in Fernie’s favourite community event and support Pride in the Elk Valley! \n\n\n\nPin selling shifts are short (2 hours) and there are four\, yes four\, options available! \n\n\n\nVolunteer shifts are at Planks & Ponies on February 14 from either 11am-1pm\, 1pm-3pm\, or 3-5pm. \n\n\n\nAnd prior to the Griz Days Parade on March 6 from 5-7:30pm. \n\n\n\nReady to raise your hand? The venue is fully accessible. \n\n\n\nAGM documents will be available in advance on our website or through a link in our bio closer to the date. \n\n\n\nRegular AGM business to be conducted including presentation of financial reports\, the annual report\, and election of Board. \n\n\n\nWe will also be actively seeking new Board Directors.
