Congratulations Gwen!

The biggest of congratulations to Gwen Cannon — the winner of our LGBTQ2+ YOUth Hoodie Design Contest! Gwen’s design illustrates that, “no matter what others say, be strong and be yourself. I did a dragon as dragons are usually depicted as strong, powerful, and fierce. So no matter what others say, be strong like a dragon and let the world know your name.”Thank you so much Gwen for your beautiful submission and your thoughtful and brave words — the future looks bright with youth like you! Thank you to the Tegan and Sara Foundation for supporting this project and to the amazing youth in the Elk Valley for inspiring us all to be strong like a dragon!
